Javier is the lead developer and co-founder of Vizzuality. Working on the field of biodiversity and geospatial technologies for Global Environmental Change. Right now he works on CartoDB geospatial databases on the cloud to do great visualizations.

We are developing an Open Source Geospatial database on the cloud, CartoDB. It will enable to create sophisticated maps and visualizations. It also has a great API to develop geo aware mobile applications. We are looking for people interested on working with us on the platform, specially on the context of Global Environmental Change.
